Siobhan Davies is an English dancer and choreographer. She was born in September 1950. She became a contemporary dancer at the London Contemporary Dance Theatre during the 1970's, and after, became a choreographer for them before she went on to open her own dance company in 1988;
Siobhan Davies Dance Company
She uses pedestrian style movements in her choreography, to portray a more human existence. Her dances often use sound and the movements are so simple because she wants the audience to focus on the sounds.

The below video shows a piece choreographed and performed by Siobhan Davies. It shows some pedestrian movements, which could help me in my dance.
I will not be using sound in my performance, but I think some of the movements will help me to make my piece more realistic and not just a contemporary dance piece.
